Meet the team behind Aegis Defense Solutions
Mike Konyu
Founder and Chief Instructor of AEGIS DEFENSE,
Mike served six years in the USAF as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician and served in multiple deployments to Iraq and Pakistan. He received his degree in Criminal Justice and Forensics from American Military University and joined with the Department of Homeland Security as an Explosives Expert. He brings over 20 years of tactical and counter terrorism experience to his firearms instruction. He is also working with Non-profits, churches, and schools creating emergency management plans.
Jayden Knack
Jayden served in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years as an Aerospace Propulsion Technician with the United States Air Force. Jayden donates his time to working with disabled veterans and running ADS Media accounts, and conducting Conceal Carry Instruction and acts as one of our RSOs.
James Brinkley
James has worked in the private security sector for 6 years conducted armed security, armored car operation, personal protection, and professional instruction. The man behind the camera at ADS, he's a crucial part of our online presence and Youtube channel.
Jim and Laurie Toshack
Jim and Laurie have integrated into ADS as our procurement officers for gear. More then just Quartermasters, they ensure ADS firearms and equipment are range ready!
