This is the perfect course for police, SWAT units, Drug Units, EMS, and Fire Departments to ensure understanding of explosives and IEDs, and promote first responder safety while on scene in dangerous environments. By emphasizing these hazards and understanding risk mitigation with IEDs, first responders will understand how to; successfully navigate environments with IED and explosive hazards, increase safety and survival, be able to handle evidence from IED components and hazards, and do all of this safely while ensuring protection to responders and civilians. With all of these concepts, the class will then analyze case studies from real world scenarios and conduct After Action Reviews to push students thought processes in new directions!
